Glocalmig is an international project which is funded by the European Union as an accompanying measure in the European Union’s Framework 5. With Professor Yngve Lithman as international project leader and the University of Bergen as project coordinator, six European universities / research institutes and eighteen researchers participate in Glocalmig’s research and innovation activities. IMER-researcher Hakan Gürcan Sicakkan is the scientific coordinator of Glocalmig. More information on Glocalmig here. The research and innovation activities in Glocalmig have hitherto resulted in 8 publications, which are listed below.

Volumes 2-7 present findings from the country studies that were conducted according to the guidelines given in the first publication by Sicakkan. They present and analyze the data collected during the country studies. All these publications have been submitted to the European Commission as part of the dissemination activities in Glocalmig.
Volume 8 is the final comparative study, published in December 2004. This publication is based on the above seven publications and the raw data collected in six countries.
