The NordSpeech
Network

|
The NordSpeech Network is established to promote collaboration and mobility among the speech and language pathology and logopaedics programs in the Nordic countries. The network has received project support fromthe NordPlus
Higher Education Programme for two earlier projects. All of
its activities intend to strengthen the field of speech and language pathology. From 2010 there are 22 partner institutions
across 8 Nordic and Baltic countries participating in the network.
Travel and Talk (T 'n T) Project 2011-2012Unfortunately, this years project was not funded by NordPlus. Therefore there is no funding from Nordplus for student or teacher exchange this year. However, we are still arranging a network meeting at Åbo University, September 9, 2011. The goal for the meeting will mainly be to strengthen the strategies for increased collaboration and exchange of students and teachers among the member institutions. Talk Together (TT) project
2010-2011 (completed) The Talk Together project is a continuation and extension of the NordSpeech
network and the previous Move and Talk project (MAT). The network has been
expanded to 22 partner institutions across 8 countries.
The purpose of the project is to build
on the MAT project to strengthen the academic field of Speech and Language Pathology
(SLP) in all participating countries by supporting new programmes and institutions
lacking competence in specific areas to promote development, harmonisation
and exchange within the SLP-educational programmes
in the participating countries. Regulations regarding types of
activities that can be undertaken in this project, and levels of compensation
can be found in the NordPlus
handbook. Move And Talk (MAT) project 2009-2010 (completed) The Move And Talk project has 19
partner institutions across 7 countries. Activities aim at increased mobility
and exchange for teachers and students, curriculum development, mutual
development and organization of intensive courses, development of a homepage
and one network meeting/year. |
