SSC11 - 11th Scandinavian Symposium on Chemometrics

The 11th Scandinavian Symposium on Chemometrics (SSC11) took place in Loen, Norway, at Hotel Alexandra. The SSC conferences are biannual and rotate amongst the Nordic countries. This was the third time the symposium was held in Norway.
SSC12 will take place in Jutland, Demark, in June 2011. Organisers are Rasmus Bro and Max Egebo.

These symposia form a significant part of chemometrics in Scandinavia, and fellow chemometricians, covering a broad range, have always shared their experience in professional, as well as social pursuits.

The organisers of SSC11 will do their very best to stimulate activities in all relevant fields during the symposium. Our aim is to bring together people working in both academia and industry and to stimulate collaboration and exchange of ideas across disciplinary, as well as national boundaries.

Loen in Stryn Community in Inner Nordfjord in western part of Norway offers some of the most magnificent landscapes in Europe - beautiful fjords and steep mountains, turquoise lakes and rivers, scenic waterfalls and wild glaciers. Ruled by the biggest glacier in mainland Europe - Jostedalsbreen - the region is ideal for visitors seeking adventures like glacier walks and chemometrics.

In addition to the scientific program the participants will be able to take part in social activities and enjoy Alexandra bath&spa.
