After the selfstudy part participant assemble for aseminar focusing on:

• Legislation and ethics Q&A
• Health and safety Q&A
• Responsibility of the researcher
• Pain recognition - interactive training session
• Severity classification - examples
• Other questions and answers from participants

A following timetable for the seminar is suggested:

1000 -1200 Norwegian legislation and regulations, Ethics, Pro and against animal experiments, Public Project summary, The animal welfare body and Health and safety

1200 -1230 Lunch-break

1230-1315 Pain recognition

1315-1430 Humane endpoints and Severity classification Q&A

1430-1500 MCQ - Bring a smartphone, tablet or laptop and notes taken during the selfstudy.

 

Participants are expected to actively participate in the discussion in the seminar

Evaluation: active participation in the seminar and passing the MCQ-test after the seminar
