Nyheter og generell informasjon
Deler av UiB er i streikSom alle er kjent med er deler av UiBs stab tatt ut i streik. Det
gjelder blant annet de fleste på IT-avdeling og det kan få følger for
nettverket vårt. De som jobber med elektroniske søknader til Forskningsrådet
nå bør legge disse inn fortløpende siden det kan gjøres endringer i søknaden
helt frem til søknadsfristen. Registrering av fravær fra instituttetVi minner igjen om at ALLE ansatte mer en 20% stilling ALLTID skal
melde fravær fra instituttet på 1 dag eller mer. Til dette SKAL instituttets fraværsskjema
benyttes – og det tar ikke lang tid. Dette gjelder alt fravær som
ferie, jobbreiser, sykdom, arbeid hjemme eller annet sted i byen. Så langt
det lar seg gjøre skal det oppgis et kontakttelefonnummer for alt fravær som
ikke skyldes ferie eller sykdom. Mobiltelefonnummer er å foretrekke,
alternativt telefonnummer til hotell, besøkende institusjon og lignende.
Dette for at instituttet skal kunne ta kontakt eller videreformidle kontakt
fra andre om saker som er viktige og haster. Dette betyr også det er viktig å
oppgi reisemål slik at det kan tas hensyn til tidssone-forskjeller. Workshop - ERC grantsNFR is arranging
workshops to inform and motivate you about European Research Council
Starting, Consolidator, Advanced and Synergy Grants. The workshop is also
intended to provide training on how to formulate and write a good ERC
proposal. The course wil be held in Bergen on 8th
June 2012. More

year. The Ocean of Tomorrow 2013 I EU FP7 2013The
European Commission has published an “Orientation Paper” (containing
information which is expected to be published in the FP7 2013 Work Programmes) with information on “The Ocean of Tomorrow
2013: Joining Research Forces to Meet Challenges in Ocean Management” joint
call. It should be noted that the Orientation Paper is a working document which has not yet been endorsed by the European
Commission. Indicative budgetary information has been removed and contents
are still subject to change. The final version of the 2013
Work Programmes (with the final information on the
Oceans of Tomorrow 2013 call) are expected to be published in around
early to mid-July 2012. This
Oceans of Tomorrow 2013 call is expected to be a joint call between the FP7
Co-operation themes on: · Food, Agriculture and Fisheries,
and Biotechnology (FAFB/KBBE); · Nanosciences, Nanotechnologies, Materials and
New Production Technologies (NMP); · Environment (including Climate
Change); · Transport (including Aeronautics);
and · Energy. It
follows on from other FP7 joint calls on ‘The Oceans of Tomorrow’ in previous
years. The Orientation Paper contains details of four topics which are
expected to be included in the Oceans of Tomorrow 2013 call: · OCEAN 2013.1 - Biosensors for real
time monitoring of biohazard and man made chemical contaminants in the marine
environment; · OCEAN 2013.2 - Innovative
multifunctional sensors for in-situ monitoring of marine environment and
related maritime activities; · OCEAN 2013.3 - Innovative
antifouling materials for maritime applications; and · OCEAN 2013.4 - Innovative
transport and deployment systems for the offshore wind energy sector. A single
