From
the head of department
Since energy has become
top priority, the faculty announced two PhD scholarships within the field of renewable energy. These two
posts should be linked to the relevant research groups at the faculty and
must thus be within the areas covered by these groups. These positions will
not be listed under available positions on the department’s webpages, but
only those of the faculty, and potential candidates should therefore be thus
informed. This is a new and important approach to the faculty which means
that it is best applicants will be chosen regardless of which department they
belong to. Otherwise, we would also
like to congratulate Laszlo Csernai on his
distinguished article in the latest issue of Europhysics

The administrative staff on
field trip
In the period from May 7-10
parts of the administrative staff will be away on a field trip to Iceland.
Hanne and Villy will be available, while those
working with finance and staff issues will be fully out of reach in that
period. Conference
