Alumni days
For the first time, UoB
is arranging the alumni days on Friday 9. and
Saturday 10. May. This is going to be a weekend with scientific input, social
gathering and a broad selection of popular scientific contributions. The
detailed program is published in the alumni
portal. Registration form for employees can be found here.
There is no registration fee, however, one has to be
registered as alumnus. We encourage everyone, also earlier students, to

Horizon 2020 We are happy to inform you about the
launching of the University's webpages about EU's new framework program
Horizon 2020: www.uib.no/h2020 On this webpage you may find updated
information about announcements, programs, project establishment support,
useful links, relevant forms, budget templates, events and so on. This
webpage mediates information from EU's webportals
and will provide guidance on how to apply for funds from Horizon 2020. Here you can also find the reccommended ‘Ten steps’ needed to apply for funds
together with contact persons who can help you during this process. Contact Inderjit Daphu for feedback on the webpage.
The Renewable Energy
Conference 2014
The Renewable Energy Conference will be held
in Bergen June 11.-12. This year's program, for which knowledge,
possibilities and risk management are the main topics, is full of exciting
lecturers from both Norway and abroad. Read the progra

Due to refurbishment, the canteen will be
closed during the period, April 7.- 22. The Academic
Administration's situation in April and the beginning of May
The Academic Administration will be
understaffed from April 7 until about May 10. Therefore, we would like to ask
you to keep this in mind when planning oral exams and other issues that
