From the head of
department
The below signed has now acceeded
the post of department head, and is looking forward to four exciting years in
this role. I hope many of you will find the time to drop by my office in the
future for a chat. Kjartan gets the role as head of teaching activities and
Bjørn Tore comes in as deputy. We are entering a rather busy period, but I hope
that many of you will nonetheless find the time to consider some of the
possibilities noted below. It would be nice if we could finish with the
nominations for Yaras Birkelands
Award. I had been told that this award has been awarded only once to a
candidate from our department, so here is the chance for improval.
I hope you will also consider the verification means for FORNY2020. For those
generally interested in technology and more specifically in unmanned systems,
it might be of interest to participate in a seminar on that topic at Sea
Warfare School. Have a great weekend! Best regards, Øyvind News and general information
