Paris being a major touristic centre there are numerous options and prices are highly volatile. Using hotel reservations services such as booking.com, hrs.com or alike usually is a good option (pay attention to reviews and avoid scores that are too low).
We suggest looking near the metro line 12, for example near Montmartre, Opera or even Montparnasse, but any place close enough to a metro station should allow you to reach the Centre de colloques in a reasonable time. For instance, there are many hotels around the train-stations Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est; using line 4 in combination with line 12 the area is well-connected to the Centre de colloques (15 to 20 minutes by metro including one change). If you do not mind a slightly longer ride the historical center of Paris is also a viable option, for example Cité (Notre-Dame), Saint-Michel or Odeon are served by line 4 and you could reach the Centre de colloque in 30 to 35 minutes.
